SociArb Help Center

Know what is updating, what counts as an alert, and where your broker takes over.

Research should reduce uncertainty, not create a new kind of confusion. These are the operating expectations behind every dossier.

01 / Market data

The dossier updates. The stock chart is not a live trading screen.

A future licensed market-data upgrade could add delayed or real-time intraday bars. Until then, use the alert receipt as the research timestamp and your brokerage platform as the live market source.

02 / Alert lifecycle

Detection begins research. A sent alert is a separate event.

01Candidate

A measurable product or brand pattern entered research.

02Watch

The case is monitored, but one or more required evidence gates remain open.

03Alert sent

The case passed the active rules and a timestamped subscriber receipt was delivered.

04Invalidated

New evidence weakened or broke the research case.

05Closed

Monitoring ended and the closing reason was recorded.

Yellow: candidate detectedGreen: subscriber alert sent
03 / Evidence labels

Results only mean something when the timestamp and rules can be audited.

Live subscriber alert

Delivered under production rules with an immutable alert receipt.

Walk-forward paper alert

Qualified in real time under frozen rules, but was not delivered.

Historical simulation

Replayed using only information available before each decision.

Retrospective case study

Educational example built after the outcome. Never counted as alert performance.

04 / Common questions

Quick answers without filling the dashboard with instructions.

Is the stock chart live?+

No. The current chart uses end-of-day market data in daily or weekly intervals. A dashboard check every two minutes looks for new dossier data; it does not turn the chart into a live exchange feed.

What should I use after receiving an alert?+

Use your own brokerage or trading platform for live quotes, bid and ask prices, intraday candles, order entry, stops, options, fills, and position management. SociArb provides research, evidence, monitoring, and alerts. It does not execute trades.

What do the yellow and green markers mean?+

Yellow marks when SociArb first saved a research candidate. Green appears only when a qualifying subscriber alert was actually sent. A yellow marker is not a trade entry or recommendation.

Why can discovery be running without a new alert?+

Discovery can review many products and companies while publishing none. A candidate stays on watch until source breadth, company mapping, business materiality, timing, and other evidence gates pass. Quiet periods are expected when the evidence is weak.

Are the public company examples backtested alerts?+

No. The current public examples are retrospective illustrations of the research format. They were not delivered to subscribers and are excluded from performance statistics.
